Last month's COMMUNITY keg

Last month the community keg was Freo Doctor by Mash Brewery.

Located in Henley Brook, Mash Brewery have been a part of the craft beer movement since 2006. Their philosophy is simple, they just like making beer that’s good!

This beer is well made, carefully crafted and drinks as fresh as its namesake. A fresh Pale Lager brewed with Australian pale malt and two varieties of “Noble” European hops. A zesty aroma sits on top of the subtle, vanilla malt profile. The bitterness is gentle and finishes with a touch of sweetness.

Last month's COMMUNITY CAUSE

Two year old Zachary Conway is currently undergoing a journey against Pitt Hopkins syndrome, an extremely rare chromosome disorder. At the time of diagnosis there was only approximately 500 reported cases worldwide – with this disorder known to cause profound development delays, breathing and gastrointestinal problems and recurrent seizures. Zach will shortly be commencing specialised treatment at the NAPA Centre in Sydney which commences in July. The treatment will introduce Zach to a daily intensive, three week program of various therapies.

The Guildford Hotel are pleased to be able to offer some support to the Conway family during this challenging time. Funds raised throughout May & June will support the Conway family finance this potentially life changing visit to the NAPA Centre.
